Silver Storm, by Michele Callahan

Silver Storm by Michele Callahan is book two of her Timewalker series. I have not read the first one, Red Night, but after reading this one I will be purchasing it as well.

A tall blonde bombshell appears in Timothy Tucker’s life in an electrical storm while he is out fishing. She is naked and wet and claims to be someone who disappeared 20 years ago- yet she looks exactly the same. The appearance of this woman reminds him of the past he is trying to forget- he is not the same man who took orders from superiors. He left that life behind when he destroyed the research he had been doing for the government. Now this blast of blonde sunshine is telling him that he must use his deadly knowledge to help save Chicago from burning to the ground. Can he resist the primal pull he feels whenever he is around this woman? And should he even try?

Sarah St Pierre knows what she must do. Her mission is to save Chicago from the silver ashes of destruction. She is told she needs Tim to help her, but he seems skeptical and who can blame him? After all, she can’t even control the powers she now has- she keeps causing power surges and blowing up light bulbs. She has three days to learn control or the lives of nine million people will be lost.

This book is tense in all the right places. There are several twists that give you even more reason to root for the good guys. Give this book a shot and I promise it won’t let you down!
